meet our deputy director

Jeff Matthews was named as the Acting Deputy Director of the Alabama Criminal Justice Information Center (ACJIC) in April 2008. Matthews has served as ACJIC's Information Technology Division Director since 2003. He also serves as the FBI Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) System Officer and the Nlets (International Justice and Public Safety Network) representative for the State of Alabama. In these roles, he is responsible for managing the access and ensuring the security and appropriate use of all FBI CJIS and Nlets information systems.

A native of Greenville, Ala., Matthews is a graduate of AUM with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems degree. He has over 21 years of service to the State of Alabama. He and his family reside in Greenville.
