ACJIC currently employs individuals in varying levels of the Alabama State Merit System. Under the state merit system, job applicants must (1) meet minimum qualifications; (2) must submit an official application form (each job class requires a separate application); and (3) must be on the appropriate Alabama State Merit System employment register.
