The Alabama Criminal Justice Information Center (ACJIC) provides Alabama's local, state, and federal criminal justice agencies with on-site and regional training to: 1) assist in the establishment of efficient systems for information management; and 2) to ensure that information processed in or through ACJIC's information systems is administered, operated, stored, used, and disseminated in compliance with state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.

In October of 2008, ACJIC opened the Alabama Law Enforcement Technology Training Center to assist governmental law enforcement and criminal justice agencies in enhancing the safety and security of Alabama's citizens through information technology (I.T.) training. Located one block from the Alabama State Capitol in downtown Montgomery, the ALETTC computer lab provides an integrated, technology-rich, learning environment for 10-45 participants with complimentary parking.

Oct 14 - Oct 19 :: Southeastern Law Enforcement Executive Development Seminar (SLEDS), Florence, AL || The target audience is Chiefs of Police/Sheriffs/Directors. Current admission policy also permits Sergeants and up in rank to attend if the Chief Executive has graduated from NEI, LEEDS/SLEDS, or the FBI National Academy.
